I'd been driving home and i noticed the sunset was really nice so the first spot i saw wher eI could pull off the road and get to a reflective surface quickly I shot.
Feedback appreciated
I'm hoping to get a graduated ND sometime soon so I can quit using HDR I wouldn't us eit if I had any other way to get the light dynamic here.
I did some hue adjusting in photoshop Cs3, I used some layers and gradients to intensify and seperate the sky and ground along with filter I think I used acooling filter on the bottom part and a red filter on the sky.
First of all I love the colors. Most people would stick to just simple black & white but you seem to have gone beyond. It's nice & clear & I like where you put everything.. like how much water where trees sit & all that.

Outstanding! There's almost an ominous mystery in this sunset. he shadowy quality of the water also helps plenty. I also like the way that you separated the snow from the color manipulation. In other words, awesome.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Where does one ever find that kind of scenery with such colors? It's not common
Great shot!
